Elon Musk is the founder of Tesla Motors, SpaceX, and Solar City. He was born in South Africa, but he also has Canadian and American Nationality.

In 1995 he co-founded Zip2, a software company, together with his brother. In 1999 the company was sold for US$ 309 million. He later founded X.com an online payment company.

This company merged with Paypal in 2000. When Paypal was sold to eBay, Elon Musk received $165 million. Later he started SpaceX and Tesla.

Gulfstream G650ER Private Jet (N628TS)

Musk is the owner of a Gulfstream G650 ER private jet with registration N628TS. The Jet was built in 2015 and delivered to Musk in 2016.

ER stands for Extended Range, meaning a nonstop reach of the industry’s highest performance long-range business aircraft of 7,500 nautical miles/13,890 kilometers.

Elon Musk jet is formally registered to Falcon Landing LLC, which name refers to Elon Musk’s Falcon 9 space vehicle.  

Musk previously used a 1999 Dassault Falcon 900 B with registration N900SX (Space X).

He now also owns a Gulfstream G550 with registration N272BG and a nother G550 with registration N502SX.

All aircraft are registered to Falcon Landing.

Elon Musk offered $5,000 to stop tracking his private jet location on Twitter

Elon Musk reached out to a 19-year-old Jack Sweeney to ask him to stop tracking his flights, according to a report by Protocol.

Since June 2020, the Twitter handle @ElonJet has been tracking Elon Musk’s private jet with a bot using public data from the Federal Aviation Administration. @ElonJet provides updates on the location of the jet

Space X is an American aerospace manufacturer and space transport services company headquartered in Hawthorne, California, United States.

Space X is active in technologies to reduce space transportation costs and enable the colonization of Mars. One of the products is Falcon 9 a  two-stage-to-orbit launch vehicle.

Yacht

As far as we know, Musk does not own a yacht and certainly no superyacht. He doesn’t even take vacations. Why doesn’t Musk own a yacht? Well, reportedly he isn’t really into buying material stuff. Some say he doesn’t even own a house.
